Yuma
Yuma is Geotate's auto geotagging solution for digital cameras. Based on our breakthrough “Capture and Process” technology, Yuma makes geotagging photographs as simple as pressing a button.
When the user clicks the shutter, in a fraction of a second, the raw GPS signal is captured and stored automatically in memory – no waiting! Yuma requires little power and minimal hardware as there is no local processing. The photos and captured GPS data are transferred from the camera to a PC. On the PC the Yuma client first contacts our server to obtain the historic satellite data corresponding to the times when the photos were taken. Then, using innovative algorithms, the client software calculates a position in just a few seconds and geotags the photos.

Hopi
Hopi is Geotate's complete reference design for photo geotagging accessory devices. Based on our breakthrough “Capture and Process” technology, Hopi offers a lightweight, low-power, fast time to market solution for photo accessory and logger manufacturers.
A Hopi device is convenient to carry and to use. Just click the button – it starts logging immediately – put it in a bag or shirt pocket and you are ready to go. When you return, load the Hopi logger data and digital camera photos onto a PC. The Hopi client software matches the photos to the logger data and calculates their location, producing geotagged images.

Kato
The Kato concept device is an extension of the Hopi reference design which provides connectivity via a standard hot-shoe, offering a lightweight, low-power, fast time to market solution for camera accessory manufacturers. Each time the user takes a photo, the Kato device is automatically triggered to capture the raw GPS signal. Thus, Kato combines the ease of use of our embedded Yuma solution but requires zero integration into the camera, as in Hopi.

Spot
Geotate Spot turns a notebook PC into a versatile location device. Based on our breakthrough “Capture and Process” technology, Spot supports geotagging, real-time navigation and a wealth of location-based services. Taking advantage of the powerful processors used in today’s notebooks, Spot eliminates the need for the costly and bulky silicon baseband required for traditional GPS solutions. Spot is easy to implement, and fully market proven, being available on notebooks from major manufacturers such as Dell and Asus. The hardware element of the Spot solution is supported by complete reference designs for both internal mini-PCIe and external USB dongle form factors.
